The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter was launched in December 2008 and is a service provided by Surf Life Saving Western Australia. The helicopter service is supported by Westpac who have been supporters of Surf Life Saving for over 35 years.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter performs patrols and the highly trained crew are on the lookout for distressed swimmers, incidents on beaches, rips and sharks. The helicopter is fully equiped to carry out rescues if required.
